Great dentist. I've never had a better experience getting a cavity filled before. I literally didn't feel a thing (first time that ever happened) and they got in and out when working on the filling so fast. Using fully-guided surgery, we can strategically plan and place your implants through a minimally-invasive procedure. Dental implants traditionally require two surgeries, but our practice serving Aiken and Augusta can provide same-day implants for the right candidates.

Implant Placement
On the day of the surgery, patients receive local anesthesia to numb the area. A small incision will be made in your gums, and some jaw tissue will be removed to make room for the implant. Our dentists will then place the implant and seal the incision with sutures. Teeth in a Day patients will receive a temporary restoration and leave our office with a new smile.
Attaching Abutments
An abutment is a device that attaches a restoration to the implant. Teeth in a Day patients receive abutments during their implant placement surgery. For patients undergoing the traditional two-surgery implant procedure, abutments are placed after the implants have integrated with the jawbone. We will use local anesthesia to numb the area before making a small incision in the gum tissue that healed over top of the implant. Our dentists will then attach the abutment to your implant.

We use these products due to their innovative designs with osseointegration (the process where your body accepts the implant), which is essential for any successful treatment.

While most implants have textures to help them integrate with your jawbone, BioHorizons takes it a step further. These implants have surfaces that can bond with soft tissue as well, to help form a stable connection with your gums.
Zimmer Biomet
Zimmer Biomet implants use textures and unique 3D designs that encourage tissue growth and integration with the jawbone. Early evidence suggests some of their implants can improve your recovery time.
Financing Your Dental Implants
Even though dental implants are the most comprehensive restoration with long-lasting results, the treatment is not usually covered under most insurance plans. We offer several ways to help make the cost of implant treatment more affordable for our patients.
